Crossing Point

Tokyo has Shibuya . its famous 'scramble crossing'. Edinburgh has the crossing at the foot of Hanover Street opposite the RSA Gallery.

We were at the RSA to see their summer exhibition Van Gogh to Kandinsky - Symbolist Landscape in Europe 1880-1910 (very good, worth a visit before it closes in mid-September). Waiting on the steps outside afterwards provided an excellent position to watch the goings on at the crossing.
