book: finished Uprooted by Naomi Novik.  having thought my sword & sorcery days were over, i was surprised by how much i enjoyed it. slightly disappointed by the ending.*  started Girls of Riyadh by Rajaa Alsanea.

iplayer: totally gripped by Made in America.
