Gently boys, gently!

Thank goodness this is a big plastic cow and not a real one. I'm quite sure eldest and youngest would have been kicked into the middle of next week with that technique!

Popped to Whitelee Wind Farm in the afternoon. The word 'awesome' gets bandied about quite a lot but in the case of Whitelee Wind Farm it's completely warranted. The size of the turbines is extraordinary and seen from the road they've always given me a sense of dread. A bit too War of the Worlds for my liking:

"This isn't a war," said the artilleryman. "It never was a war, any more than there's war between man and ants."

Perversely, seeing them so close I feel less like an ant.
