Ash Wednesday...

at the start of Lent seems odd with blue skies such as the ones in Spain today. Old habits last a lifetime though, so suitably daubed with ashes in the church of Nuestra Senora del Carmen, me that is, not Colin, we headed to one of the beach-side cafes for a fishy lunch, which is duly recorded in the extra photos. He is, as you would guess from the lunch fully recovered, and fortunately so is June, so off to Mijas again tomorrow with all present this time for a further explore. Happy days!  .
