Splashbow!

Meeting other blippers is always fun and today was no exception.

Tryfan46 had arranged for us to meet in Aira Force car park and, after much chatting and coffee drinking, we set off up the the Force. I have lived in Penrith for 45 years and have never walked up to the falls from the bottom car park!

I have looked forward, all the time I have been blipping, to getting a shot of a rainbow splashbow across the falls. I had even discussed it on the way there, what time of day for what time of year would be needed to catch the sun's rays in the crevice? Let's face it, catching the sun's rays can be difficult in the Lake District at any time!

So! A great morning out, especially as it was hildasrose's 4-year blipday!
