Wellington

Yesterday we were at Gisborne where the ship had to anchor off. The journey in to shore was beautiful, sunny and calm and we enjoyed a quiet day wandering around. When we came to return, the wind had returned and the waves had increased mega fold. The journey back to the ship was exciting to say the least and it took 6 attempts to dock the tender to the ship following a long, bumpy ride.

Today we docked at a sunny, warm Wellington and had a great day exploring the city and learning about its origins and culture. An afternoon's walk along the waterfront ended a superb day.
