Kelso Abbey.

I left the depot far too early this morning, but this gave me a chance to photograph Kelso Abbey before I started my service run up to Yetholm. I liked the way the early morning sun had turned it almost gold in colour.

Although I think they were a day early, a few of the senior pupils were all dressed up for World Book Day. The extra shot is of Sophie, who agreed to have me publish her photo when I explained about blipfoto. The look is amazing and I could hardly believe that a teenager had got out of bed early enough in the morning to don the make up and costume before catching the school bus at twenty five past eight!
