Newts

Gave blood at lunchtime (number 76) and so didn't have time for a walk round campus today. 

Got home and realised I didn't have a photo so I went out to the pond with a torch. I saw several newts without having to look too hard. They looked super spotty - hopefully that means they might be breeding in our tiny pond again. No frogs around as far as I could see. Last year the newts ate all the frog spawn so it is probably just as well.
