"It's the Circle of Life"

Walking to school this morning with Jonty and Lennon we went through Barnwood Arboretum. Lennon has been a few times as it is only 5 minutes walk from his school and they have trips out in the better weather.
He pointed out these large pines (scots pines I think) and said they had been planted in a circle to represent 'The Circle of Life'. He asked if I could take his photo inside the circle and it seemed like a great idea to me, and so did Jonty obviously :-)


He also told me that the tree that I'd had identified as a 'Dawn Redwood' is really an 'Indian Redwood'. I bow to his greater knowledge, he's only 9 but when he's been told something he doesn't forget it (unless it's to do with jobs!).
