Old Doggie

An unexpected trip to the vet this morning. We noticed yesterday morning that Roxy was holding her back leg funny but as the day wore on it seemed okay. However at bedtime the awkwardness returned. This morning she really didn't want to put any weight on it and even standing / sitting was difficult. Well, it appears that she may have strained or pulled her knee. Some anti inflammatory  medicine has really helped and she is starting to put weight on it again. She has spent the best part of the day sleeping however still wants to run and chase if she is in the garden. A few days more of medicine and a return visit to the vet next week to check that all is well.

Will need to get her to slow down a bit. I think she forgets what age she is.
