Ultrawide over the Studland Dunes
...Just before sunset, looking back towards Sandbanks.
The beach itself had many rivulets of fast receding water, making it impossible to follow, unless you had Wellingtons on, or were going to brave bare feet (BRRRR!).
So I followed the tops of the dunes, with fabulous views all around. Got SO many wonderful images it was difficult to choose what to Blip. The sunset itself was good, the reflections in the sand after on the vast stretch of shimmering sand gorgeous also, but in the end, I just loved the clouds and the light and sheer sense of space on this one. As you can see, I am only joined by one other person!
No sign of ANY birds whatsoever, let alone starlings (Ann)
So tired was I on getting home at 9.30 last night, I was trying to choose one - and fell asleep.
Well, put it another way, I woke up after 11 hours sleep (!!) - I MUST have been SO tired, no doubt from lifting that damned heavy 120-400mm lens up to my eye in the wind for two days running !! - and found that I had left the TV on and the computer on, with the files all opened as I had left them! As I live in just one room, with no stairs to climb etc, I must have just rolled into bed and zzzzzzed off!
