Little St. Jans Chapel

A nice little chapel at the market square of Hoensbroek.

A foundation charter consists of 1390 where the chapel is called to Ghenbroek (Ghenbroek in dialect nowadays Gebrook = Hoensbroek). The chapel was built sometime between 1065 and 1390. Persistent circulating the year 1150 although it could be anywhere from substantiated.
