Broccoli unwrapped.......

.....(and substantially larger) was a whole lot cheaper than its brethren encased in plastic this morning, ditto twice-as-big organic celery compared to the sprayed-with-chemicals variety, other bargains were also purchased....so all in all it was a successful veggie shop after Make, Do and Mend today, I'm a happy bunny! Well, that's to say I WAS a happy bunny until I got home and found that someone had completely filled my previously empty recycling bin (that I didn't have time to drag back into the backyard before I legged it to the library first thing this morning) with non-recyclable polystyrene.......bastards......
