Brave Pink....

It is the first day of autumn here in New Zealand. Not that it feels like autumn with temperatures of over 30C in our garden today. Much too hot for any activity outdoors. Not that I can do much in the way of gardening due to my hand still recovering from last Friday's surgery.
Some of our hydrangeas are adopting their autumnal garb with the flowers changing colour. This hydrangea, growing in a pot is grimly hanging onto one tiny bright pink flower.
