Pool left after the tide
On an early morning walk just after sunrise, I discovered two pools that had been left after the big 4.4 metre tides we have been having. With no creek to drain them they were landlocked. Some fennel provided a foreground and in the distance is a creek line leading out to the channel. The marina in the far distance.
I walked right round the estuary stopping for a few photos. It has been hot this afternoon. I have had the trickle irrigation on the flower garden and citrus while I watched the cricket. The Black Caps need to beat the Proteas from South Africa to keep the series alive and they are doing well at the moment.
Thanks to Bobs Blips for continuing to host wide angle wednesday after his epic trip to Australia.
