New years eve party

Today we headed out for a new years eve party. The boys were all dressed in their very special party gear - the traditional hogmanay way! 

It was a lovely evening, the kids played outside and wore themselves out, so bedtime went relatively smoothly, given they weren't in their own beds. 

Once the kids were asleep, the adults played some board games. We were having such a great time we almost missed 12'o'clock! 

We then headed home, the boys enjoyed the extremely late car ride - they stayed awake the whole way home, but they settled very quickly once they were back in their beds.
