Pink Hibiscus

A cold morning again, but the sun has been shining for a while. After doing paperwork and first of the month accounts this morning I watched the Formula One Qualifying this afternoon. Not a bad result, but not quite the one I would have preferred.

I noticed this morning from the kitchen window that the Hibiscus shrub had some buds on it. This afternoon when I went out to photograph it some buds had opened; this is one of them. I took it against the sky, which appears as a rather uniform white!
