My First Walk

I walked a mile today without my brace, and I was SO SLOW, as I have to think about every step. But, I got out and got to see a part of my favorite walking trail and, even with the starkness of winter, I saw some beautiful, if subdued, color!
Grateful today for...small, slow steps.
