Small world

We were introduced to Abby today, who is here in Shrewsbury from Malaysia, working with Trinity Churches for a year. We had a quick, casual convo afterwards and I asked her if this will be the longest she's been away from home. 'No', she replied, 'I lived in Pretoria for 18 Months'.

'Oh, ok. Studying?'
'No, I was with OM'
'Oh, did you meet someone called Ruthe H'
'SHE WAS MY BOSS!'

Ruthe and I used to work together in Oswestry so we had to take this quick selfie to send her!

I'm so glad I found a picture to take, as I'd been a bit scornful on twitter earlier about people instagramming pancakes and so that obviously wasn't an option for today's blip. I have had pancakes today though, obvs. Old skool sugar and lemon with the CU gang at lunchtime and then buckwheat galettes with bacon, egg and parmesan for dinner.
