In Green Pastures

With an eye lid open and knowing I should get up in 3/4 hour I bit the bullet and pottered to the window. The sun hadn’t come up but there was a beautiful light over the frosty field and....... wow 2 deer. They were back Mum and her fawn - my it had grown! 
Trying to behave sensibly I resisted, got in the shower and then thought, ‘What!!!!?’ Slippers, dressing gown and hair turbaned I grabbed the camera, tripod and lens. However at this point  it soon became obvious that it was an outside job and yes it was bracing! 

I’ve learnt  over time that you get a lot of looks over here if you don't kit up with camo for the job and here is the look! Not too sure that the hair in white towel did anything for the disguise but the fact that I was freezing made it imperative to get as near as possible as quickly as possible.

The funeral today was of a father of a very dear friend and he is now lying in a beautiful plot and if we had horses in our field I would have blipped those today but Graham I am afraid will have to make do with deer. Peace in green pastures ........
