F is for Fountainbridge
As straightforward as getting the boys up, fed and dressed and onto bikes and into school, it was as difficult for her to get her one to school.
By the time I'd deposited them - rosy cheeked - into their lines and then headed off to Leith (the Cigs flt bed remains static) and had a meander around on a cold and frosty morning, then headed up through Meadowbank and into the east end, I still had time to meet her on Calton Road for a debrief of the morning as she walked into work before going off into EH11 for the afternoon stuff. 11am, though. Ouch.
And onwards to Tollcross and beyond; too busy even to grab coffee. Perhaps I should have stopped in Qupi earlier on. Note to self.
I was home around mid afternoon; to write up stuff and then come 5, I was out with the news of more impending legal stuff to deal with. Which prompted the question why now?
A chaotic evening at hers; we had our menus all mixed up for this week. Ah well. And then not content with having spent half an hour with the teacher, there was a nice parting gift too.
*sighs*
