Washing

Luckily, it was a nice sunny day so I could catch up with all the holiday washing. And cut the grass. And do the weeding. I also started cutting down the rather overgrown goat willow in the corner of the garden that usually gets a bit out of hand by this time of the year. The last two years I've paid someone to come and trim both this and the tree, but as the tree has hardly grown this year (too much rain and not enough sun?), I thought I'd tackle the willow myself. Unfortunately, I only got halfway through because I can't reach round the back unless I go into the side passage that leads to my neighbour's house and there wasn't time today. I'll try and finish it next weekend as it looks a little lop-sided at the moment.
