Blizzard!!

Only nine of us turned up for this morning's group walk (we usually have around twenty) , we remarked that we must be the mad ones. We went up above Selattyn and set off in a blizzard, those umbrellas were black when we set off!

We walked through snow, mud and mist on the moorland but when we got to the lane the sun came out and the last part of the walk was beautiful - we could see the snow on the tops. There were lots of birds around too and it was great to hear the skylarks singing above us.
