Snow!

So many photos I have taken today could have been my blip.
My lovely robot cleaner has done a fab job of cleaning the kitchen floor which had got cereal, rice and dust all over it from just 2 days ago. The joys of DIY in the roof/ceiling and children. The sunshine this morning showed up all the dirt. I took a photo of it at work - because I'm that excited about being able to sit having a coffee while a robot cleans my floor!
D has been off sick today with inflamed throat and not feeling well. I was mildly concerned when school texted to say C wasn't at school. I was pretty sure it was a mistake but nevertheless even more concerned when they hadn't noticed that D wasn't in. May have to bring that one up with the school!
D watched some MOTD while I dusted and tidied. Then after lunch we sat snuggled up in front of the fire (in our now very tidy living room) reading 'The Giggler Treatment' after I was mean mummy and made him do some handwriting practise first. By time C came home it was snowing heavily and the poor lad had forgotten his gloves. He scootered home and arrived home soaking and with freezing hands. Hot chocolates all round!
The snow has continued and my solar lights are looking lovely in the snow. I don't envy A his cycle home - he'll be fine in Edinburgh but the roads could be a bit slippy by the time he gets out to us!
Now I need to get C to band and rookie lifesaving and back again...
