Lord, the Rafeiro

Dragged myself out of bed about 5pm because had to get a blip...

Amazing how many photos I could take without leaving the flat, but decided to go for this one of Lord, the priest's 2-month old Rafeiro Alentejano because of little_miss, a new blipper who loves animals.

We see these dogs everywhere, looking after flocks of sheep - they calmly move around in the middle of the sheep and lambs, or lie down with them - but always on the lookout, and will definitely not let you get too close. The other day, we saw a lamb nuzzling up to one.

And, thankfully, seem to be feeling slightly better - at least, looking at the screen is bearable tonight. We were planning to go to the Algarve today - our son arrives in Faro tomorrow, but thankfully again, we'll have time to make it tomorrow. Couldn't face feeling this ill in a hotel.
