The morning after a fiasco

We're all tired from staying up last night to watch the Oscars. We loved the political flavor and even though we have yet to see Moonlight, we loved the that it took the best picture. It's not playing anywhere locally, but perhaps it will come back. Amazon has it for rental, so we will see it soon at home if that is the only option. We loved Lion and Hidden Figures and would have chosen either of those as well over La La Land. What we did not love was the gigantic flub up at the end. "According to PwC ( the accounting firm in charge) Mr. Cullinan and Ms. Ruiz memorize all the winners, and if a mistake is made in an announcement, PwC has said it has protocols in place for correcting the error immediately. Both Mr. Cullinan and Ms. Ruiz were visible on stage as the confusion unfolded and the error was corrected." Wall Street Journal 


For the Record,
This day came in with warmer temperatures than yesterday. it still feels like spring is around the corner. I heard the peepers in the swamps and saw pussy willows on our walk on Saturday.


All hands anxious. 

It seems my next blip anniversary , 2500 will fall on my cataract surgery, perhaps a post op selfie instead of the fun Raspberry and I usually have on blip birthdays.
