A Teasing Sunrise
I was hopeful this morning, driving out towards the east, with the subtlest of pinks reflecting off low cloud.
In the end it was not to be, with the cloud winning the competition for space in the sky and the sun didn't actually break through until mid morning. By that time I was in an unusual position, in the loft, carefully removing the flexible ducting from the bathroom extractor. As it was I needed a bucket, as more than a litre of water had built up in the hose, admittedly over the last 20 years, as the steam from the shower had condensed as it passed along its length in the cold of the loft space.
Technical: This needs a 0.75 Medium neutral density grad to control the sky exposure. Back home it has been converted to B&W using Silver Efex Pro, Full Spectrum preset, before adding a light sepia colour.
