Venice Carnivale

went to Venice today as a birthday treat. Took loads of photos so difficult choosing which to blip. I do like trying to take them 'unposed' which is very difficult during the carnivale as so many people are dressed up and will pose as soon as they see the camera. Have added some extras- one from the fish market where it was amusing seeing some in costume buying their fish, a costumed couple deep in conversation and some girls on their mobiles.  It was gorgeous sunshine and great for having lunch al fresco in one of the many squares although it made for more difficult photography with all the contrast.
