Rainbows...

Up early (considering it was a Saturday and we didn't have the kids) and driven to Mimi's to collect this birthday cake for the party. While parked, we spotted a rainbow above the Water of Leith - rainbow cake AND a real rainbow!

The party was crazy, hot, loud and, at one point, looked like it was turning into an Edinburgh version of Lord of the Flies.

Everyone had fun, and I made it out in one (sweaty) piece.

Home, lunch, coffee, a couple of hours pottering and then we headed over to Akva to catch up with J (Leasko) who was back for the weekend. A couple of drinks turned into quite a few. Good craic and a catch up with a few blippers and friends.

Managed to drag ourselves away and head home, stopping to grab some scran from the chipper on the way home.
