Old Red-Eyes

We have a pair of oyster catchers on the shore below the house.  Attractive birds, with amazing red eyes.  They seem to be getting used to us wandering past, several times a day, and don't fly away or even shout. They now know that Ollie and Scratch won't bother them.  There is a wall and a good big drop down to the beach, too daunting for either of them, so the birds are quite safe!
