powder puff

Seeing the puffed breast and white halo around this western scrub jay's head reminded of my grandmother's powder puff. Back in the day, that is over a half century ago, it was a big treat for me to spend the night with my grandmother. And part of the big treat was that after my bath I could use her powder puff and special powder and make myself look like a snowman from head to toe. Even in thinking about it now I can smell that special aroma!
