Variation on a theme

Having played around with a set up for Redilady's blip, I carried on  trying different lighting with the same tulip. She, who was standing behind the flower, suddenly said, "That's nice". A quick change of position and a short talk with the camera, telling it that it in this case it didn't know best about focus and exposure, produced this.
