Turret
This morning just before the torrential rain started I came out from Cafe Nero, where I'd had my usual extra hot skinny flat white and apricot croissant and crossed the road on my way to church. When I looked up, I saw this turret that I hadn't noticed before, attached to the corner of the tall Albert Chambers building at the bottom of Bath Street. Albert Chambers is another fine Neo Classical style building designed by architects Bruce & Hay in 1901. The turret is a rather nice quirky detail.
Made me think of Rapunzel!
