London really was calling.

We had a day in London today. We started with a walk along the South Bank, watching the world and the street entertainers. We stopped for lunch overlooking the river before moving on for our visit to Buckingham Palace.

It was very interesting and although I hate to admit it, the recorded guide does make it more interesting and at least everyone looks silly with the headphones on. Sadly the queen was busy elsewhere and could not come to meet us but we left a message for them to say hi, I know she will be glad we dropped by.

We then went to Covent Garden for a wander and some dinner, it was very nice and very busy with the after work people out drinking. It was then off the theatre to see Spamalot. It really was fab and we did laugh!

Really tired now but was a fab day out.
