Greater Sand Plover

What a gorgeous little bird, I hope you agree! This is the Greater Sand Plover in his Winter plumage, loose him for a second against the sandy background and he's gone, such is his perfect camoflague. 
Thank you very much for your interest in the desert photo I posted yesterday, we had a fabulous camp and with no visible moon the night sky was simply amazing! Absolutely jet black sky except for millions of twinkling stars, such a privilege to be in such an incredible place.
