Fuji cherry flowers

The Fuji cherry tree in the courtyard is flowering for the first time. Lovely!

Unfortunately the forecasters go it right, and we were battered by fierce winds until mid afternoon. The sun made a brief appearance when I joined MrM and Louie for a walk around the Common at lunch time, and it would have been very pleasant were it not for the wind, making it difficult to stand upright at times.

A day of vegetating and doing very little at all - my 'get up and go' seems to have disappeared again! But it was good to see Vincent and A, his youngest son, in the evening - he called in with part of an instrument that he's hoping MrM will be able to repair.
