Last Days of Summer

At last, the summer has arrived on the very last day of August !!

On our way down south to London for a weekend we visited Belton House near Grantham. There were many photo opportunities here but this particular one seemed to capture the glorious blue sky, cirrus clouds and the old historical house itself. The grounds were fantastic and really well kept; a lot of open vistas with ha ha's.

We may experience an 'Indian summer' now, especially as the children will have to return to school next week. It will be ironic if the weather is now really fine until Xmas - and we all have to go back to work...
