The cafe in the window

Steve was on PA today but Ben decided he wanted to go with him, so the two took some breakfast for Ben with them and off they went! And Charley and I were only a little bit late for church! We played in creche, and afterwards I got Ben to walk home with me by promising we'd go out to the beach after lunch.

Lunch took a while, but afterwards we packed our bits and headed to the beach as promised, despite the wind. I was glad we'd thought to take the big sun umbrella.

Ben decided that one big rock was his friend's house, and they were having dinner but eventually the windchill became too much even for Ben's imaginary world and we headed home, with the promise of making a cafe in our office and having our tea in the "cafe".

We baked chocolate brownie cupcakes and ate them in our "cafe", and by the time we'd had cake it was too late to bother with dinner so we called it a day - but the boys were utterly hyper on cake and didn't want to go to sleep... Eventually we all went to bed at 10pm!
