Excuse Me!

Today felt like the first proper day of our holiday, as we managed to get out and about without any dramas.

It was our intention to go to Ullapool for more provisions and to visit an exhibition at Bridge House but sadly, it was closed, so after the food shopping, we carried on North.

We ate our lunch at Knockan Crag and as the weather was continually getting clearer, we kept going. We ended up at Fanagmore, Foindle and Tarbet, which is an area I fell in love with many years ago, when I first came to the Highlands. The remoteness appeals to me.

We wanted to get home before dark because of the large number of deer on the road and this one was very close to the grass verge, just as dusk was approaching.
