Crocuses or croci

Henry woke ridiculously early this morning so we've had a few more hours in our day than usual.

A friend of mine had a birthday lunch so I spent a few hours lunching with the ladies whilst Neil held the fort at home. We've had a lazy day, playing, doing housework, trying to sort the computer and continuing with Theo's reading challenge - a school thing for 'book week'.

Henry is now cruising around the furniture and can reach even further back on the coffee table...hmm!

Today's blip was taken this morning, before the wet weather arrived, of some of the crocuses under the (cooking) apple tree. We planted a lot of bulbs a few years ago, some have really taken well, others have made good slug food!
