Here we go again....

Whenever it rains nowadays the becks and rivers rise far far faster than i remember they used to, clearly the water table is saturated. And as the water rises so does the anxiety - i for one do not believe that December 2015 was a once in a lifetime experience, our natural world is changing. In a global sense, a Gaia sense, its a tiny change - but then Ive always thought we humans were a tiny thing in the grand scheme.

Today was my first day canvassing - on the doorstep talking to folk, it was really good fun - only one rude lady out of 40. People were interesting and interested - but i was struck that it does seem to be the older generation who are the committed voters. I scored a few brownie points for turning out in the torrential rain, but eventually we retired to the pub to sit by a warm fire.
My target it to speak to 50% of the Division - so that's 2000 people - its going to be a tough gig, but I knew it was going to be hard work when I agreed to stand - so long as i can look at myself on May 5th and say "I tried my best", well that'll do.
