Marwick

The bus driver said 'you picked another good day for it' as he dropped me in Marwick in the wind and rain, but the forecast said it would brighten up and it did. The usual birds at The Loons hide. I photographed a distant flock of golden plover, just for counting purposes, and it was only when I got home that I realised there was a male hen harrier in the frame too. At The Choin it was still quite dark as in the first photo, but it brightened very quickly. Two glaucous gulls there. A very windy walk over the cliff path
