Friday: Beer Book

So today confirmed a lesson that I have long known.  Always take your photo on a way to something, rather than from something.  This has happened to me a few times - that I've walked somewhere by myself, seen some photo opportunities that I thought I'd get on the way back, and then been saddled with someone on the return walk that I couldn't get rid of and in front of whom I didn't want to take photos.  

So instead, you have a view of our beer book, taken this evening when we went to 'Darby's'.  If I haven't mentioned beer of late, it's because K. and I have been very abstemious.  We did dry January and that has tipped into February so tonight was the first time we have really had some beers since New Year's.  We're very academic about it, listing them according to brewery and giving them marks out of 10.  Sometimes the criteria for marking slips a little as the evening progresses.......

We ate afterwards at 'The Naam' - a longstanding vegetarian restaurant.

And, annoyingly, I have managed to lock myself out of my work phone so that's something I am going to have to get sorted next week.
