G-Wagen

This big brute has been my test car this week. Its name is a shortened version of gelandewagen, German for a cross country vehicle. The Mercedes G-Wagen has been in continuous production for 38 years, since 1979. It is very capable but it isn't pretty and it isn't cheap, at £88,000 before the long list of extras is added!
