Flooding & Photobombing

We made an executive decision this morning to leave the daily dog walk until the afternoon in the hope of missing the heavy rain. A good decision. After lunch the rain stopped and the sun even made an appearance. On the down side there is quite a bit of flooding around the village and the road has flooded a little further along the street.

I also found a recipe to use up the remains of the mincemeat jar that was lurking in the pantry so we now have mincemeat loaf to eat later with a cuppa.
