Dawn mists, Derwent valley

Unusual for me to wake early, and a quick peek out the window saw me dive out of bed and pull some clothes on, grab the camera and shoot out the house. Before I drove anywhere, I grabbed a few quick shots across the valley. Got in the car and headed in the direction of the whispy mist, only to see it disappear as I drove down the road. Talk about catching it by the skin of your teeth!

Just goes to show, how important it is to get a shot "in the bank" before you go any further.

Good day today, had the new backup server installed, so I now have 9 Terrabytes of new storage (and a further 9 of backup!)
