High Ash Farm

Back at High Ash Farm for another walk.  After the lovely weather yesterday, when we missed our walk because there were too many other things going on, today is quite cold, and a bit blustery.  But this time I managed about 2km, with one stick - feel quite chuffed with the progress.

Considerable evidence of the passage of Doris - lots of debris on the ground, and one large tree down.

They've created this pond on the farm.  There is no obvious inflow - but since it is almost at the lowest point, presumably it gets considerable run off from the surrounding fields.  I rather liked the way they had used a trunk for this outflow.
