Nothing like a good book to take you to other places and times for a little while - in this case the 1100s (although I see the modern day has encroached in the reflection).

Went to a gathering of Tim's friends and colleagues tonight.  Nice to share stories, food and thoughts.  Gone too soon.  Sad.
