Roman wall.

I've read about this piece of Roman wall in the Bailgate area of Lincoln and had glimpsed it as I drove past in the car. So tonight after a day in the Gallery I had a walk round. It is now part of the back wall of the Castle Hotel but In Roman times it was part of the North wall of the Basilica.
Such a big and ancient piece of history hidden within the modern buildings.
