Where Is The Ball?

We left early this morning to travel to our first destination, Ashland, Wisconsin.  We are staying at a B&B that we have been to many times in the past.  The Inn at Timber Cove if you are ever in the area!   At Timber Cover you will find dogs, cats and ducks wandering the yard.  (More about the ducks on another day).   These dogs are hilarious in that if you ask them, "Where is the ball?", they will immediately start digging into the snow.   There are old tennis balls to throw for them.  I imagine in the spring there will be many scattered throughout the grounds. 

Two other couples from home met us in Ashland for the weekend.  Tomorrow is a cross country ski race.  We went to our usual place for dinner and then to the Second Street Bistro to hear some music.  It was just one woman playing piano but we had a blast playing "Name that Tune" and even singing along!  Great start to the weekend.
